| Certainly the righteous can relate to David in this prayer song. We are bombarded with lying lips and deceitful tongues 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whether it be on our phones, TV’s, radios or newspapers (although, not many read those anymore) – we are perpetually fed a steady diet of fakery, falsehoods, fabrications, fallacies, fables and fiction. The mainstream media pawn themselves off as news outlets; but in reality, they are nothing more than propaganda peddlers. They don’t report the news – they make the news. Instead of simply stating all the facts, they are fed their “facts” from their deep state overlords; and then spoon-feed those lies to the public. Of course, there is usually a dab of truth in their “stories”; for a spoon-full of fact helps the bucket of fable go down. The msm are salesmen. They’re a business with a bottom line – and their business is to manipulate the public into believing what they want us to believe and prop up their antichrist masters. They have proved themselves unreliable, untrustworthy and unapologetically unethical time and time again. They demonize anyone who doesn’t buy what they’re selling, accusing them of following “fake news” & “conspiracy theories”; while they are, in fact, the fake news, theorists and conspirators. I suppose they haven’t read the Bible: Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren. Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil… Proverbs 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD. Revelation 21:8 … all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. What do we do about this? For starters, stop watching the mainstream news. There are plenty of independent news sources on the internet to get caught up on what’s happening, without being indoctrinated with antichrist philosophy. Lies lay around on the ground to be easily picked up; but truth has to be dug for. Next, as in the above verse, pray to God for deliverance from lying lips and deceitful tongues. Pray for a great awakening in our nation, that the people may see the truth. Pray genuine, fact-stating, truth-telling news outlets would come to the forefront; and that journalist with integrity would be heard. Last, but certainly not least, spend time reading, studying and meditating on the eternal truth of God’s Word – which is the real news and the good news.
