\u201cDaniel answered and said:<\/em><\/strong> “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the sise. And knowledge to those who have understanding.”<\/strong> <\/em>Daniel 2:20-21\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meditate on that for a moment\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He changes the times and the seasons?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNothing ever stays the same!\u201d\u2026my mother once told me!\u00a0 I think of one of my favorite gospel singers, Janet Paschal, singing It Won\u2019t Rain Always\u2026<\/em>Indeed, <\/em>summer changes to fall, fall changes to winter!\u00a0 The sun always comes out again!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is that not an amazing thought?  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And what about this\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe <\/em><\/strong>removes<\/em><\/strong> kings and <\/em><\/strong>raises up<\/em><\/strong> kings?\u201d  <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have definitely seen His handiwork in action here in the United States!  The Good LORD showed us who was in charge in 2020!  Felt a lot like judgment to me for four long years!  Hey, maybe it was!  But that\u2019s a whole other blog!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Think about it like this\u2026 the Creator of the Universe  raised up a very changed man (after allowing him to escape death by a fraction of an inch) to lead our nation with new found strength and wisdom!  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We cannot ignore what Scripture says about who puts the leaders of nations in place.*  That is something to ponder!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, here we go\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It helps us to remember that our Savior is not a mere man who we think we put into office by our vote\u2026 but He is the One and only Son of God who died to pay our sin debt and set us free from that debt, which is the grave!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wages of sin is death.<\/em><\/strong>— Romans 6:23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEveryone who keeps sinning is violating Torah \u2014 indeed, sin is violation of Torah.<\/em><\/strong>— 1<\/em> John 3:4 CJB<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Savior IS the Creator of the Universe\u2026the lamb slain from the foundation of the world.  <\/em>(Revelation 13:8)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no other way\u2026 hmmm, I\u2019m thinking of another song!\u00a0 Trust and Obey\u2026 for there\u2019s no other way\u2026<\/em>My husband wrote a song several years ago, Only One Way.\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where do we get that concept? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, Yeshua told us Himself\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYeshua said, \u201cI AM the Way \u2014 and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me.\u201d<\/strong>— John 14:6 CJB<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sounds pretty exclusive, right?\u00a0 Hmmm, aren\u2019t we told that Jesus loves everybody unconditionally? \u00a0Where is the inclusiveness that is so sought after in today\u2019s modern western global culture? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, maybe we should re-ponder\u2026or rethink our understanding. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is the Creator of the Universe?  Who created all the laws that hold everything together? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And who asked Eve, \u201cHas God really said?\u201d \u2026implying that God had evil intent when he warned them about eating of the tree in the middle of the Garden!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bible tells us that Jesus (Yeshua) is The Living Word, the Living Torah (John 1:1, 14; Hebrews 4:12), and He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).\u00a0 He, the Word made flesh, who dwelt among us (John 1:14) has told us that He came not to destroy the Torah (Law of Moses) but to fulfill it\u2026 to make it complete.\u00a0 In the original Greek, that word translated as\u00a0 fulfill <\/em>is pleroo<\/em>, which is also translated as fully preach <\/em>in Romans 15:19!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where did we get the idea that His Commandments were no longer in effect?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhoever says \u201cI know him\u201d but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 John 2:4-6 ESV<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shouldn\u2019t we strive to understand what it means to \u201ckeep His commandments?<\/em>\u201d (John 14:15) And, walk as He walked?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He (Yeshua) is returning sooner rather than later to set up His Kingdom!  Repent and return to Him!  Read His Word and get your house in order!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
